- First, we will use coarse diamond segments bonded in a metallic matrix. It will remove minor pits, stains, blemishes, and light coatings. The concrete will be ready for final smoothing, but it still depends on the concrete conditions. Primary grinding will take three to four step processed.
- In this step we used diamond abrasives embedded in a plastic or resin matrix to grind the concrete surface. We do the lapping procedure by using ever-finer grits of polishing disks until the floor reaches the desired sheen. If you want to achieve the high gloss finish, we will use a final grit of 1500. Our team have years of experience in floor polishing. They already know how to observe the timing when to switch to the finer grit. During the polishing process we apply an impregnating sealer to protect, harden, and densify the concrete from inside out. We prefer to use a commercial polishing compound onto the surface instead of using topical coating. It will minimise your maintenance cost and will add more glossiness to concrete.
